Empowering Hope: Powur's Impactful Journey to Build Solar Homes and Brighter Futures in Mexico

Last week, the Powur family embarked on an incredible journey, our annual #ImpactJourney, filled with inspiration, unity, and purpose. 🌍

It's a time when our top sellers, executives, and employees come together as colleagues and a community with a mission. We traveled to Mexico with hearts full of hope and hands ready to work, all to make a significant difference in the lives of a special family.

In collaboration with Prosperity Homes & Baja Bound Ministries, Inc., we united our strengths and resources to accomplish something truly remarkable - building a home equipped with solar power for a family in need. 🏡☀️

This project is much more than construction; it's about laying the foundation for a brighter, sustainable future for those who need it most.

At Powur, giving back is our essence. We're committed to green energy and global positive change, intertwining our mission with hope, transformation, and community.

 Here are some words from our Field President, Bobby Smith.

"This past week has been a life-changing experience. Several members of Powur traveled back to Mexico to continue to fulfill our company’s culture & commitment to making the world a better place.

We had the opportunity to build a home with Solar for a family in Mexico who along with their beautiful young child have slept on cardboard boxes in a makeshift shelter without heat, air conditioning or electricity in the summer heat or the cold of winter.

Spending time with this extraordinary family and watching their faces as we handed them the keys to their new solar home with real beds & toys for their child and some money to spend was truly an experience of a lifetime.

We also had the opportunity to spend the day at one of the many local orphanages and even if only for one day to give whatever we could to these beautiful children.

The next stop on our journey was to the migrant camps where children of all ages and young adults spend the vast portion of their lives in the fields, picking fruits and vegetables for a few dollars a day, so that we can buy less expensive food in our grocery stores.

They live in unimaginable shacks, and can be grabbed and displaced to any other camp at any time. This is the life that they were born into and this is the only life that most of them will ever know.

We had the privilege of cooking for them and playing with them and donating toys and gifts that will hopefully make that one day better and perhaps a few more.

The striking thing is how they somehow managed to smile and find some way to enjoy the lives that they have inherited.

I could not help thinking about how upset we get when our cellular network goes down or we lose our cable for a few hours when given the chance to experience the lives of what over 1 million of these orphans & migrant workers experience on a daily basis.

Myself, and my company are completely committed to continuing these efforts and hopefully engaging more companies and people into giving back and uplifting the spirits of those less fortunate around the globe.

I am so thankful to be a part of what we do and the contributions that every member of our community make each and every day. I am so grateful to my children who inspire me every day to build a better world and my beautiful & loving wife who also inspires me to do good and provides a pathway for me to do this work.
